Today we walked all the way to Delco Park. When we went there we were given an activity to make a little square and explore what all we could see. I worked in a group with my friends and we saw a bunch of things because we were only limited to that one spot. We saw clovers, dirt, and grass. We were asked to see them in different points of views, such as kneeling, laying down, and standing. Each one was different. We also had a guest speaker today. He talked to us about Haiku's and how to express nature in many different ways and also how to write a story or dialogue's in various ways. After all of that we had some free time so my friends and I just walked around the big pond and took a bunch of pictures. We walked back to our school after that and boy were we exhausted! It was a wonderful time though. I love our STEMmersion so far. We've learned so much. After taking a "nap" we started a Hershey Kisses activity. In this activity we learned how to see a hershey kiss in many different ways. All of us shared our idea's and thoughts and how we portrayed the kiss. It was amazing to see so many people see many things in different ways. It kind of defined who they were as well. After this activity we went to yoga and we did the Sun Salutation. Which is amazing because the Sun Salutation is something I do every morning because it's part of my religion. Which is also known as the Surya Namaskar. I was so excited for Yoga because it's been a part of who I am and doing it in my STEMmersion made me happy.
